.SYNOPSIS... * Mainly dry, seasonable weather pattern to continue across most of central PA through the second weekend of September
&&
.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TONIGHT/... Frost advisory remains in effect until 8AM for the NW zones where 3AM/07Z min temps are in the mid 30s. IR satellite shows valley fog across north central PA which should continue to expand/persist through sunrise before mixing out by 9-10AM.
Another pleasant day ahead with abundant sunshine, low humidity, and light wind from the east. Highs in the low to mid 70s are near to slightly below early September climo with the largest departures from the historical average (3-6 degrees) across the southern tier.
Hires models continue to indicate low clouds will invade eastern PA tonight behind and increasing easterly low level wind flow. It is plausible that spotty light rain reaches as far west as the I81 corridor by 12Z Wed. We made minor upward adjustments to sky cover with this fcst cycle, but if the trend continues we would anticipate a mostly cloudy start to Wednesday with perhaps some mentionable POPs and QPF
