.DISCUSSION... Issued at 141 AM EDT Wed Sep 10 2025
Key Messages:
1. Mostly clear and dry conditions continue with high pressure in control.
2. Gradual warming trend into the weekend. Beautiful early September weather.
Discussion:
We will stay dry and mostly clear through the end of the week with as we sit under high pressure. Light will lead to patchy fog, especially near lakes and river valleys, most mornings. Fog should dissipate each day by around 10 AM.
The weekend forecast continues to be dry although temperatures will begin to warm as upper-level ridging builds in across the Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys. Dry weather forecast for all of the outdoor events late this week and weekend across the region.
Low-level moisture begins to increase early next week with 10 to 20 percent probabilities of a shower across the higher elevations. Most areas remain dry with no measurable rainfall during the next 7 days.
