- A cold front is currently slowly working its way through the
   area and will bring cooler temperatures and rainfall
- Ongoing showers and thunderstorms this morning will continue
   through much of the day for portions of the area
- Much drier conditions and generally warming temperatures are
   expected to return for the start of the week

With the ongoing thunderstorms moving through the region,
tonight`sdiscussion will be brief, but will hopefully convey the
forecast details. Radar imagery this morning is showing
widespread convection across our northern zones that has warranted
some warnings at times. Another round of thunderstorms is
currently working through FWDs forecast area and will begin
entering our western zones shortly. Expecting this activity to
continue through the remainder of the morning and into the early
afternoon hours, although the later in the morning we get, we
should see this activity come to an end from north to south as the
cold front continues to push southward through the area. Things
should come to an end during the overnight hours Saturday into
Sunday morning across the region. Early forecast models indicated
an additional round of thunderstorms during the early morning
hours on Sunday across our western zones, however, they have
backed off some and I have trimmed back PoPs to just portions of
deep east Texas on Sunday. After this, no real PoPs in the
forecast at this time from Sunday night through the end of next
week.
Temperatures will be rather pleasant today for most of the area.
For those along and north of I-20, highs will range from the lower
70s to around 80 degrees, while those south of I-20 will range
from around 80 degrees to the upper 80s. For tonight, temperatures
will fall into the upper 50s for portions of our far northern
zones while the rest of the area will be in the lower to mid 60s.
Slightly warmer conditions for Sunday, but things will still
remain in the lower to mid 80s across the region, but we will
start to see high pressure building into the southwest CONUS
during the day. From here, temperatures will increase a few
degrees each day as we head into the middle of the week with highs
returning to the lower 90s on Wednesday thanks to the building
ridge. While the warmer temperature trend will continue into the
end of next week, it looks like high temperatures will remain in
the lower to mid 90s into the weekend. /33/

For the ArkLaTex terminals TS is departing KTXK with eyes for KELD
next. This system is laying down outflow north of I-20 for the
next wave for KTYR soon and on down I-20 to KGGG/KSHV over the
next few hours. Gusty winds to 30KT covers much of the outflow
and downpour winds, but we may amend for more if need be. A fropa
is in progress with convection continuing on the H850 boundary
into the morning. SFC winds bcmg N/NE across I-20 by 12Z and
keeping NE much of the day as weather slowly clears to the E./24/

spotter reports are appreciated with any thunderstorms overnight
