.SHORT TERM... (Today) Issued at 1210 AM CDT Sat Sep 27 2025
A mostly sunny and warm day is on tap today with afternoon high temperatures warming well into the 80s in most places. A few locations in northeast Oklahoma west of Tulsa may see temperatures reach the 90 degree mark this afternoon.
&&
.LONG TERM... (Tonight through Saturday) Issued at 1210 AM CDT Sat Sep 27 2025
Dry weather with warm days and seasonably cool nights will prevail through the upcoming week. Afternoon temperatures will be well above normal each day with nighttime lows near or just slightly above normal.
The next chance for any precipitation may come next weekend, but this largely depends on the future evolution of the tropical system currently developing off the southeast U.S. coast.

.AVIATION... (12Z TAFS) Issued at 608 AM CDT Sat Sep 27 2025
Low probability MVFR fog at KFYV through 14Z, otherwise, VFR conditions will persist at all terminals through midnight. Latest guidance suggests more localized fog across northwest AR Sunday morning though confidence is too low at this time to mention. Winds remain light southerly across OK today and more northwesterly in AR due to position of surface ridge.
