Things remain the same for this forecast package, with daily low to
medium (20-40%) rain chances expected through the weekend and into
early next week. Moisture will increase slightly late this weekend
and into early next week, contributing to slightly above normal
temperatures. By mid-week, chances for rain and thunderstorms will
increase as a shortwave trough and a boundary approach South Texas.
As in the previous forecast, the exact timing and location of these
features remains questionable, so have continued capping PoPs at
60%.
Forecast tidal values are lower than in the previous few days, but
it is possible that we could still see water reaching some of the
walkways and roadways around high tide. Confidence is lower in this
than in previous days, but we will all need to continue to monitor
beach conditions.

A mid level cloud deck per satellite, is spreading across LRD and
COT, but will remain at VFR levels. Other than brief MVFR
visibilities across VCT between 08-12Z, VFR conditions will prevail
across S TX through the TAF period. Light and variable winds
overnight will become increase from the southeast and east 10-15KT
Friday afternoon. Occasional gusts around 20KT will be possible for
ALI and CRP.

end of the week and the upcoming weekend. Low to medium (20-60%)
rain chances will continue daily into next week.
