Mid and upper clouds, associated with an upper shortwave, will
move east tonight and early morning, bringing mostly sunny skies
today. Temperatures will be 3 or 4 degrees warmer,, with  in the
upper 80s due to increased sunshine. Winds will remain light, with
lows tonight around 60.

(Wednesday through Monday)

Upper level ridging will build over the area for the next few days,
as an upper high forms over Mexico. Temperatures will be 10+ degrees
above normal for portions of the area Wednesday through Friday.
Abilene`s current forecast for Thursday is only 4 degrees below the
record high for that date (forecast:95 Record:99). The ridging will
start to break down and shift east as a large upper trough moves
into the central U.S. from the west coast this weekend. Temperatures
will drop a a couple of degrees for the weekend, but will remain
well above normal. Dry conditions will continue for this week.
