.UPDATE...Winds have generally dropped below advisory thresholds
(sustained winds of 30+ mph and/or gusts of 45+ mph) in the
Kittitas Valley, so opted to end the advisory early. Northwest
winds of 20-25 mph with gusts of 25-40 mph are still likely (80%
confidence) for wind-prone portions of the valley through the early

.AVIATION...06Z TAFs...West winds of 10-20 kts with gusts of 20-30
kts are holding on at KDLS/KPDT, but anticipated to decrease in
magnitude overnight as a dry cold front and shortwave trough exit
to the east.
Skies will be mostly clear through the remainder of the period,
and sustained winds of 10 kts or less are forecast Friday at all
sites.
The front has pushed smoke from area wildfires north and east of
TAF sites this evening, and confidence is low (
