Expect a mainly dry and very warm forecast due to high pressure aloft across the area. An isolated storm or two is possible west of an Ozona to Sterling City line late Saturday afternoon due to weak instability, but will not mention in the grids or the point and click forecast at this time. Most of the activity will remain west across the Trans Pecos and Permian Basin. Highs Saturday will be in the upper 80s to mid 90s. Overnight lows will be in the 60s to around 70.

No significant changes needed to the long term portion of the forecast. Will continue to carry a slight chance of PoPs Sunday afternoon generally west of an Abilene to San Angelo to Ozona line. Most of the area will remain dry however. Otherwise, high pressure will remain in control for most of next week. Highs each afternoon will mainly be in the lower 90s, with lows in the 60s.
