.LONG TERM /MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY/... Issued at 215 PM CDT Sun Sep 28 2025

Monday night through Saturday Assessment...A near certainty (>99%)of above normal temperatures and no rain.

The thermal ridge remains in place across the area through mid-week before slowly retrograding into the Plains. Record highs are not expected for Tuesday but have been included in the climate section.

The persistent dry air over the area will also result in cool nights and warm days.

Saturday night and Sunday Assessment...Very high (>90%) confidence on warmer than normal temperatures continuing. Very low (
